Fredricka Reis Freire, a 16-year-old student at New Bedford High School, spoke at Saturday’s demonstration about how immigration raids are affecting her and other students.
“While some kids worry about homework and after-school activities, others sit in class wondering if their parents will be home when they get back. How can a child focus on learning when they live with that kind of fear?”
Those who wish to voice their opinion about this issue can attend the Democracy Rally at the Dartmouth Mall on Saturday, April 5, at 11 AM.
maybe all of this resource like hospitals, housing and schools wasnt just “given away” by giving ssn numbers so now non citizens can vote?..this should have been the right and thats not to subvert immigration laws
