Paul Heroux is proud of his accomplishments as Bristol County sheriff, but he says he’s only half done.
“I’m not claiming mission accomplished,” he said in Thursday’s one-on-one with The Chat host and Light columnist Jack Spillane.“There’s still work I want to do at the jail.”.
His No. 1 goal in the remaining three years of his first six-year term: Close the antiquated Ash Street Jail.
Heroux touched on the changes in the county jail system, his department’s challenges dealing with ICE, his budget issues and much more.
