It’s the Bristol County sheriff’s race that many have waited years for.
Twenty-five-year incumbent Tom Hodgson is being challenged by three-term Attleboro mayor Paul Heroux.
Both candidates were invited to participate in The Chat for a conversation about issues and ideas related to managing Bristol County’s correctional facilities. Heroux accepted our invitation; Hodgson accepted then later declined.
Editor’s note: The Light regrets that Sheriff Hodgson has withdrawn his participation in The Chat, our ongoing series of community conversations.
