Join Artist-in-Residence Alex Houston for the closing reception of her quilt exploring the impacts of urban renewal in New Bedford. Through detailed textile mapping, the work reveals demolished homes, displaced families, and the construction of highways that reshaped the city.
The Green St. Band is a group of local musicians who bring back music from the 1960s to the 1990s. Band members are Paul Darvon, Denny Moore, Chuck Steel, Frank Bastion, Carlton Clint, John Booth and Brutus Benson.
