Book Talk/Meet & Greet Event “HOMETOWN: A MEMOIR” by John K. Bullard

Author John Bullard will discuss his memoir Hometown on Thursday, Jan. 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wamsutta Club. The book reflects on his family roots, his years as mayor and his lifelong commitment to public service.

The evening includes a cocktail hour with light fare, followed by a talk and Q&A. Tickets are $35 and include the option to purchase books for signing. Reservations are required and available through Eventbrite or by calling Spinner Publications at 508-994-4564.

“Hometown” is Bullard’s first book and tells the story of his efforts to balance personal history with the challenges of leadership. New Bedford native Bullard, now lives in Westport with his wife, Laurie.

Spinner Publications, a nonprofit based in New Bedford, is organizing the event as part of a fundraiser series supporting its mission to share the history and culture of southeastern New England.
