Zeiterion Presents Stories of Recovery and Reentry & Community Narcan Training

Stories from local residents who have experienced addiction or incarceration will be shared on Thursday, April 2, at 6 p.m. Admission is pay-what-you-can. The program features individuals who have returned to their communities as business owners, artists, teachers, and public servants.

The Z’s Teen Ambassadors will moderate the discussion. Singer-songwriter Matt Butler will also speak about the stories behind his show, “Reckless Son,” set for April 1 at the Zeiterion.

A 20-minute Narcan training with Fishing Partnership will follow. The session will show how to respond to an opioid emergency.

Proceeds support the event and Butler’s weeklong artist residency in Greater New Bedford, developed with local partners working with people affected by addiction and incarceration.
