United Interfaith Action of Southeastern MA 30th Anniversary Fundraiser Dinner

Celebrate 30 years of faith in action for social justice. United Interfaith Action of Southeastern Massachusetts will host its 30th Anniversary Fundraiser Dinner on Saturday, May 16, from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is $60.

Since 1996, UIA has organized congregations in Fall River and New Bedford to address housing, education, public safety, and the economy. These efforts helped secure after-school funding and launch the Shannon Youth Outreach Program. Job training and funded police body cameras have expanded. Advocacy also supported housing investments, higher minimum wages, paid family medical leave, and the $5 billion Affordable Homes Act. Current priorities focus on housing stability, fair school funding, stronger voter engagement, and safer communities.

Guests will gather at Our Lady of Light Band Hall in Fall River. The evening brings together grassroots and community leaders from across the region to support UIA’s ongoing work.
