Tote Basket with Shaker Tape Handles

Create a handwoven tote basket on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $55.

Participants will make a 10-by-6-by-10-inch basket using reeds of different sizes and colors. Each project includes Shaker tape handles and coordinated accent colors.

After finishing, makers can dip their baskets in a black walnut stain for extra strength and a rich finish. The finished tote is sturdy and works well for shopping, gardening, or home storage.
