The Great Pumpkin Parade at RJD
Visit the grounds for an autumn evening of family-friendly activities on Thursday, Oct. 8, 4 to 8 p.m. See jack-o’-lanterns carved by local community members and play lawn games in the garden. Inside the mansion, children can join a scavenger hunt for prizes. The Toe Jam Puppet Band performs at 5:30 p.m.
Suggested donation is $5 per person or $10 per family. The event is also part of AHA! Night.
The Rotch-Jones-Duff House is also seeking pumpkin carvers for the event. Carvers should provide their own pumpkin and deliver the finished pumpkin to the museum by noon on Oct. 8.
Those interested can email Lauren at lpothier@rjdmuseum.org.
