2026 Indoor Mural Slam at Kilburn Mill

The New Bedford Arts and Cultural Emporium is accepting submissions for its “2026 Indoor Mural Slam” at Kilburn Mill. This year’s theme is “Bold Botanicals.”
Artists may submit up to three original sketches on Wednesday, Oct. 21 by 11:59 p.m. Two artists will be selected and awarded $1,500 each to create murals inside the mill. Winners will be notified Friday, Oct. 23.
Painting will take place Saturday, Nov. 6 to 8, followed by an opening reception Nov. 14. The event is free.
