Sippican Choral Society presents “The Glory of Spring”

Sippican Choral Society presents a spring concert on Sunday, May 3, at 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 for students, and free for children 14 and under.
The program centers on Antonio Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” a bright, uplifting choral work. Soloists include Karen Antonsen-DeVoe of Marion and Patrice Tiedemann of New Bedford.
Music also includes Dan Forrest’s “The Nightingale,” plus “Music Down in My Soul” and “Down by the Riverside.” Works by Gilbert and Sullivan, Mendelssohn, and Haydn round out the program.
