MAC Theater Playwrights Incubator Presents The Attorney-in-Fact

MAC Theater’s Playwrights Incubator presents The Attorney-in-Fact, a new play by Philip Ardell, as part of ArtWeek SouthCoast. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 10.
Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
The play follows Milt, 82, recovering from hip surgery in a rehab facility. His estranged son, Tommy, visits, hoping to rebuild their relationship while also seeking financial support. A social worker encourages Tommy to take power of attorney. The situation brings tension and an uneasy reliance between them.
Each performance includes a talkback with the playwright, cast, and creative team. Ardell developed the work over the past year under the guidance of mentors Tony Ferreira and Harvey Ussach.
