Illuminating Fall River’s Public Art debut
Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition is bringing two standout events to ArtWeek SouthCoast 2026: Fall River Illuminated and the Spindle City Arts Trolley.
The first installation debuts on Friday, May 8 at 8 PM, featuring the illumination of “We Here” (2022) by internationally recognized artist Add Fuel, located at 207 Pocasset Street. The mural pays homage to the Portuguese heritage and ancestry of Fall River residents, celebrating the community’s cultural roots through vibrant, contemporary azulejo tile design.
The festival runs May 8 through May 17 across Southeastern Massachusetts. The SouthCoast Community Foundation hosts the regional celebration, spotlighting local artists, performers and cultural organizations.
