Let’s Go Fly a KITE! workshop

A kite-making workshop, “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” is on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is $45.
Participants will create a large personalized diamond kite complete with a tail and wind telltale. They can choose ripstop nylon colors and decorate the kite with paint or nylon shapes. Simple designs such as flowers, butterflies, and ladybugs are encouraged.
After making the kite, students will head to Fort Taber Park to fly their creations.
Adults may make a kite on their own or with a child. One kite is included per adult-child pair. Additional kites are $25.
