Punk rock and alternative indie share the stage for a special night. John Doe, pioneer of the West Coast punk band X, joins David Lowery, indie and alt-rock leader of Cracker.
Doe co-founded X and helped shape late 1970s Los Angeles punk. With the band, he released six albums and sustained a roots-driven sound for decades. Alongside band work, he developed a solo career and appeared in more than 50 films and TV projects.
David Lowery leads Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven, shaping indie rock and alt-country for more than 40 years. His career includes gold and platinum records, producing, teaching, and working as an artists’ rights advocate.
