Double-neck guitar virtuoso Mark Kroos at Shepherd Center

May 2 @ 7:00 pm

Double-neck guitarist Mark Kroos performs May 2 at 7 p.m. at the Shepherd Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door.

A Michigan native, Kroos started playing at 12. He shifted from songwriting to instrumental guitar, influenced by Michael Hedges. His “instrumental folk” style often uses both necks of his guitar at once.

He won Guitar Player magazine’s Guitar Superstar Competition. He has shared the stage with Phil Keaggy, Sister Hazel, Mike Stern, and Lee Ritenour. His videos, including “Dueling Banjos,” “Linus & Lucy,” and “Come Together,” have gone viral. He tours across the U.S. and Canada.
