Intro to Portraiture

This beginner-friendly portrait class builds a strong foundation in four weeks. Students can use pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, or ink.

Week one covers proportion, placement, and light and shadow. Week two focuses on facial features and basic anatomy. In week three, students will work on value studies and begin a guided portrait using reference images. The final class brings it all together in a completed portrait with support on refining detail and expression.

Ideal for those new to portrait drawing or looking to refresh the basics.

Cost is $104 for members and $115 for non-members.
