Inside the Hive: Honeybee Basics and Candle Making is Sunday, May 31, 2:30–4:30 p.m. This spring workshop introduces honeybees, local beekeeping, and beeswax crafts.
The session starts with a look at honeybee life and hive care across the South Coast seasons. Students learn about bee behavior, pollination, and honey production, with time for questions and discussion.
Next, participants dive into candle making. They roll beeswax candles and craft simple projects such as bee wraps. A tasting of local honey is at the end of class.
All materials are included. No experience is needed.
