Henry Diltz —Behind the Lens at Narrows

Henry Diltz brings his “Behind the Lens” tour to the Narrows at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $42 in advance and $44 the day of the show.

Diltz is known for photographing some of the most influential musicians of the 1960s and 1970s. His images helped define that era of popular music. Behind the Lens blends photography, music, and personal stories in a program that runs more than an hour.

Audience members see classic album covers and rare images featuring artists such as The Doors, Eagles, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, and Jackson Browne, along with moments from Woodstock. Diltz shares behind-the-scenes stories from a career spent documenting artists from their early days through their rise to national prominence.

He will sign and sell select photographic prints during a meet-and-greet after the show.
