Fri-YAY: Eastern Medicine Singers

FriYAY brings a mix of folk, soul, pop, rock, jazz, and more. Local musicians perform a two-hour set that feels different every time.
The Eastern Medicine Singers will perform on Friday, Nov. 7. The group is based in Rhode Island and represents several Algonquin tribes. They preserve Eastern Woodlands language and culture through song. Their performance will feature traditional powwow style drumming and vocals.
