Free Go Fish April Vacation Week program

The New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center and New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park are partnering to offer free April vacation programming for students and families from Tuesday, April 21, through Friday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Go Fish April Vacation Week program highlights the history of the Port of New Bedford, from whaling to today’s fishing industry. Activities are available at both locations and include storytelling, music, science demonstrations, arts and crafts, and opportunities to meet local fishermen.
The program is designed for elementary and middle school students, though all ages are welcome. Activities are drop-in, and no registration is required.
