The Toronto-based seven-piece band blends Southern soul and roots rock. Members include vocalist Meghan Parnell, guitarist Dave Barnes, drummer Bruce McCarthy, bassist Mike Meusel, keyboardist John Kervin, trumpeter Stephen Dyte, and tenor saxophonist Julian Nalli.
Bywater Call has earned multiple Independent Blues and Maple Blues Award nominations, including Entertainer, Electric Act, and Best Female Vocalist. The group has toured extensively in Europe, with praise from Dutch, German, and UK media highlighting Parnell as a standout voice in blues and roots music.
