2026 Annual New Bedford Half Marathon

The New Bedford Half Marathon welcomes thousands of runners from all around on Sunday, March 15, at 11 am. The 13.1-mile race is one of the oldest half-marathon events in the Northeast and draws thousands each year.
Runners follow a single loop through New Bedford streets, with views of the harbor and Clarks Cove. The paved route includes a few hills, with notable climbs at miles 3 and 12.
Registration is open for adults, youth, and runners age 65 and older. Fees vary by age group and registration period, with adult registration currently just over $100 and youth registration set at $54.50.
The race is organized by a volunteer committee and hosted by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, with support from the City of New Bedford.
