New Bedford Democrats Caucus

New Bedford Democrats will meet Sunday, March 15, at noon to elect 44 delegates and 24 alternates to represent the city at the 2026 State Democratic Convention. The caucus is at the Our Lady of Angels Band Club. Doors open at 1 p.m.
Registered and pre-registered Democrats in New Bedford who will be at least 16 by March 29 may vote and run as delegates or alternates. Youth ages 16 to 35, people with disabilities, people of color, veterans, and members of the
LGBTQ+ community who are not elected are encouraged to apply as add-on delegates at the caucus or at massdems.org.
The 2026 State Democratic Convention is set for May 30 at the DCU Center in Worcester. The New Bedford Democratic City Committee also plans to offer a bus to the convention.
