New Bedford Jam at Gallery X
Gallery X will host an Open Mic and Jam Session on May 28. New Bedford Jam’s May 2026 theme is jazz in the style of or associated with the Jazz Messengers. David Mitton will host with an experienced backup band. Alternate jam selections may also be considered at the host’s discretion.
Open mic slots run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Arrive early to sign up. Solo performers, bands, originals, covers, poetry, and other performance styles are welcome.
The open jam begins at 8 p.m. Microphones, amps, and drums will be available. Guests should bring their instruments. Select performers and guests may also join the house band.
