New Bedford City Council meets Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. in City Hall Chamber, room 214.
The agenda includes public hearings on utility and infrastructure work on William Street, County Street, and Belleville Avenue. Mayor Jon Mitchell proposes multiple fund transfers to support employee wages under union contracts.
Councilors will also consider a $12.6 million loan order for city building repairs and an ordinance to repeal the single-use plastic bag ban.
Other items include a zoning board reappointment, short-term rental regulations, and several demolition reviews.
