Grow your own Mushrooms

A mushroom growing workshop with Jim Watkins of Nurcha Foods runs Thursday, April 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The fee is $55.
Watkins covers how to grow edible mushrooms at home. Topics include mushroom basics, varieties, and simple growing methods using store-bought or homegrown mushrooms. Guidance also includes adding mushrooms to gardens or houseplants and how to fruit a grow block.
Each student receives one grow block, included with registration. Additional blocks will be available for purchase.
