World AIDS Day Celebration

New Bedford Community Health will mark World AIDS Day on Monday, Dec. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event centers on remembrance, reflection, and hope. It honors people affected by HIV and AIDS and shares resources that support prevention and care.
A Red Ribbon Remembrance Tree will be available for ribbons in honor of loved ones. A candlelight vigil will follow with a moment of silence and a message of support. Community groups will host tables with information on local services and health resources.
Light refreshments will be served.
The event is free and open to the public. Anyone who wants to learn more or show support is welcome.
