The immigrant community is on edge, and advocates are working overtime to try and help. Since Jan. 20, at least 27 immigrants have been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It’s become dangerous for New Bedford immigrants, documented or undocumented, with criminal records or without, to be on the streets of New Bedford.
