Damien’s Food Pantry provides food assistance in Wareham

Damien’s Food Pantry provides food to residents of Bristol, Plymouth, and Barnstable counties. More than 1,200 households receive assistance each month.

Hours are Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with the last shopping session beginning at 6:15 p.m. Thursday and Saturday hours are 7:30 to 11 a.m., with the last shopping session beginning at 10:45 a.m.

First-time visitors must complete an application, provide proof of residency, and verify household members. Verification is required annually. New applications are accepted Tuesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. and Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Volunteer opportunities include food distribution, stocking shelves, data entry and translation services. Some positions require lifting up to 25 pounds. Remote opportunities are also available.
