Zeiterion Presents DakhaBrakha

NPR noted that DakhaBrakha’s live shows rise far beyond curiosity into something unforgettable.

Four musicians from Kyiv come together to create a sound that feels both ancient and brand new. Traditional Ukrainian folk music blends with global influences. Strong, soaring vocals meet deep percussion and layered rhythms. Band members call it “ethno chaos.” Rolling Stone once described it as “folkdrone Björkpunk.”

Heavy bass lines and distorted guitars build into hypnotic harmonies. Tall black headpieces and striking stage presence make each performance as visually powerful as it is musical.

Touring worldwide, the group shares more than songs. Performances carry a sense of identity, resilience, and connection to home.

DakhaBrakha will be in New Bedford for one night on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $32 to $59 plus fees.
