Yoron Israel and High Standards Open JazzFest Acoustic Series

New Bedford JazzFest opens its 2026 Acoustic Jazz Series on Sunday, March 1, with Yoron Israel and High Standards. The concert is from 4 to 6 p.m., with doors opening at 3:30 p.m.
Drummer and bandleader Yoron Israel leads the group, bringing decades of experience as a performer, composer, and Berklee College of Music professor.
High Standards features Ian Buss on saxophone, László Gardony on keys, Greg Loughman on bass, and vocalist Nadia Washington.
Additional concerts follow on April 19 and June 7. Tickets are available at steepleplayhouse.org, with discounts for seniors, students, military members, and Card to Culture participants.
