Winter Brass – A Festive First Friday at New Bedford Whaling Museum

New Bedford Whaling Museum will close its First Friday series with Winter Brass, a seasonal program featuring Southcoast Brass Band and its New Orleans-inspired sound.

Visitors can move through the galleries from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Light bites will be available. Seasonal and locally inspired gifts will be on sale at the Museum store.

Southcoast Brass Band was founded in 2017 by Dr. Michael Rocha. He also performs with the Southcoast Jazz Orchestra.

The concert is on Friday, December 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $10 for members and $20 for the general public.
