Wheel Throwing For Everyone

Students of every level are welcome in this class, which covers all aspects of the ceramics process.
The group will practice throwing techniques, work with larger amounts of clay, and shape thinner, taller forms. Instruction also covers attachments such as handles, including pulling handles directly from the side of the cup.
Focus centers on tableware items such as mugs, cups, bowls, and plates. Personal ideas and creative approaches with clay are encouraged.
Sessions meet once a week for four weeks: July 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Fee is $210 for members and $235 for nonmembers. All materials provided.
