WHALE’s Annual Auction at the Johnny Cake Hill Wine Festival

The Waterfront Historic Area League (WHALE) will hold its annual auction in a hybrid format. The auction will start online on September 21 and continue in person on Sunday, October 5, during the Johnny Cake Hill Wine Festival in New Bedford. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for October 12.

Various items will be available for bidding, including local art, handcrafted pieces, dining packages, and travel experiences. Guests can enjoy food and drinks from South Coast restaurants, along with live music in a festive atmosphere.

Proceeds from the auction will support WHALE’s mission to preserve and repurpose historic buildings in New Bedford. Over the years, this event has raised funds to restore vacant properties and transform them into active community spaces.
