Westport Cultural Council Film Series Presents Manhattan Short

The Westport Cultural Council will bring the Manhattan Short Film Festival to the Westport Grange on Friday, Sept. 26, the screening starts at 6:30 p.m.
The festival connects local audiences to a worldwide event. Ten short films are shown in more than 500 cities at the same time. Viewers vote for the films and actors they like best, and the top choice moves closer to an Academy Award nomination.
This year’s lineup comes from Spain, Israel, the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico, and the United States.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Reservations are available online. Coolers and alcohol are not allowed.
