Tuba Skinny at Narrows
Tuba Skinny will perform Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $49 in advance and $51 on the day of the show.
The New Orleans-based band has toured internationally for more than a decade and released 12 albums. Its members include Shaye Cohn on cornet, Barnabus Jones on trombone, Todd Burdick on tuba, Craig Flory on clarinet, Gregory Sherman on guitar and vocals, Max Bien-Kahn on banjo, Robin Rapuzzi on washboard, and Erika Lewis on vocals and bass drum.
Known for traditional jazz, the group also explores jug band music, spirituals, country blues, ragtime, string band music, and New Orleans R&B. Their repertoire reflects the roots of American popular music from the early 20th century.
Despite their global following, Tuba Skinny continues to perform on the streets.
