Tim Ray Trio featuring April Hall at Steeple Playhouse
Tim Ray Trio featuring April Hall will be at the Steeple Playhouse on Sunday, July 26. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors/students/military, and $5 through Mass. Card to Culture.
Pianist Tim Ray is known for his work with Tony Bennett and has performed with artists including Aretha Franklin, Lyle Lovett, and Soul Asylum. Vocalist April Hall blends jazz, gospel, and blues and serves on the faculty at Berklee College of Music.
The concert is part of the New Bedford JazzFest Acoustic Jazz Series. Audience members will also have the opportunity to hear the musicians discuss their backgrounds, influences, and creative process during guided conversations and Q&A sessions.
