The Noisy Puddle: Storytime & Nature Exploration with Linda Booth Sweeney

Elizabeth Taber Library welcomes author Linda Booth Sweeney, writer of “The Noisy Puddle,” a Massachusetts Book Awards winner. The program is designed for young children and caregivers.
The program begins with a read-aloud and an author talk. Families then head upstairs to the Marion Natural History Museum to explore vernal pools and their ecosystems.
Support comes from the Mass Book Awards Speakers Bureau and the Massachusetts Center for the Book.
Sweeney’s work blends story, art, and science. Other titles include “Monument Maker” and “Apart, Together. Do Bees Pee?” is due out in June 2026.
