The Making of Christmas at Narrows

A screening of “The Making of Christmas” is set for Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The film begins at 7 p.m. All proceeds support Fall River Christmas Outreach.
Jim Hanon created the film, which follows his search to understand the idea of “God with us” beyond familiar symbols and commercial themes. Production took place in New England over five Christmas seasons and highlights local interpretations of historical traditions.
Medieval-style animation is blended with contemporary cinematography. The story examines scriptural accounts of the birth of Jesus and considers what it means for that story to resonate in daily life.
