Susan Rice at Narrows
The Narrows Comedy Series features comedian Susan Rice on Saturday, May 9. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance and $37 the day of the show, with all fees included.
Rice was recently featured on Vulture following a popular appearance on “Don’t Tell Comedy,” which drew more than 1 million views. Her television credits include appearances on ABC, NBC, HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central. Since moving to Los Angeles in 1986, she has opened for comedians including Jerry Seinfeld, Rich Shydner, Paula Poundstone, Maria Bamford, and Arsenio Hall.
In recent years, Rice has focused on fundraising and charity comedy events, including the first St. John’s Comedy Festival in North Portland. The festival was created to bring people together through comedy while supporting local businesses.
