Summer Eats at Haskell Public Gardens

New Bedford EATS and Project Bread will host a Summer Eats event on Friday, Aug. 14, from noon to 2 p.m., at Haskell Public Gardens, 787 Shawmut Ave., New Bedford.
Cat Country 98.1 will provide the music. Face painting, prizes and giveaways are also planned.
