stuffNjunk: An Afternoon of Dance, Art and Unexpected Stories at SoCo Movement Arts
October 25 @ 2:00 pm
Dance artists Steve Vaughn and Miguel Quiñones III will present “stuffNjunk” on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at SoCo Movement Arts, 201 Pope’s Island, New Bedford. Tickets are $20.
The performance features original duets developed over 15 years of collaboration, combining contemporary dance, humor, and storytelling. Among the works is “The Bike Ride,” a comedic portrayal of a bicycle accident through movement and mime.
Vaughn, a former Parsons Dance Company member, and Quiñones previously developed work in artist Ellsworth Kelly’s studio, with support from Kelly and photographer Jack Shear.
