Stuff You Should Know: Basic American Government

The First Unitarian Church in New Bedford is offering a free class, “Stuff You Should Know: Basic American Government.” The course provides an accessible overview of how the U.S. government works, including its history, structure, and civic role.

Classes will be taught by Fairhaven attorney Ellen Nelson, who brings 25 years of legal experience and a background in teaching government and law.

Participants are asked to obtain The Everything American Government Book by Nick Ragone; limited free copies are available.
