Special Permits and Licensing Committee meeting

New Bedford’s Special Committee on Special Permits and Licensing will meet Thursday, Sept. 17, at 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall.
Agenda items include:
Gerald L. Ribeiro as a constable
A residency waiver for Side Quest Complete to obtain a secondhand dealer license
Whether to allow cigar lounges with on-site tobacco use
City officials from planning, health, police, and the solicitor’s office have been invited to the cigar lounge discussion. The meeting will be livestreamed and recorded.
