Something Fishy Summer Vacation Program registration

Applications are open for the free Something Fishy Summer Vacation Program for New Bedford students entering fourth grade this fall. Three one-week sessions will be held on July 13, July 20, and July 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Now in its 19th year, the program introduces students to New Bedford’s maritime history through marine science activities, crafts, games, and field trips. Participants will visit the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, the Whaling Museum, the Seamen’s Bethel, and the working waterfront.
Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are provided. Transportation is not included.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese at fishingheritagecenter.org. The program is presented by the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center and New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park.
