Social Justice Book Club will discuss We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on March 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Inspired by Adichie’s well-known TEDx talk, the essay offers a modern definition of feminism and reflects on gender, culture, and personal experience. Through clear, direct storytelling, Adichie examines what it means to be a woman today and calls for a more inclusive understanding of equality.
Adults 18 and older are welcome. Copies are available at the New Bedford Downtown Library Circulation Desk with no wait list. Book club participants receive a one-month loan period.
