Social Justice Book Club meeting at New Bedford library

Join the Social Justice Book Club at the New Bedford Free Public Library for a night of community, connection, and conversation inspired by Loretta J. Ross’s “Calling In: How to Start Making Change with those You’d Rather Cancel.”
From a pioneering Black feminist and MacArthur “Genius” Fellow, this urgent and exhilarating memoir-manifesto-handbook provides bold, practical new ways to transform conflicts into connections.
Those over age 18 are welcome at the free event on Tuesday, June 16, at the library’s main branch. Borrow a copy of the book at the New Bedford Downtown Library Circulation Desk. Copies have been set aside and there is no wait. A one-month rental will be provided to all Adult Book Club participants. Call 508-991-6278 with questions.
