Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds at Narrows

Narrows Center for the Arts presents Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds on Friday, May 15. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $44 in advance and $46 the day of the show.
For more than a decade, the band has built a reputation for energetic live shows and modern soul music. Frontwoman Arleigh Rose Kincheloe grew up in a musical family in New York’s Catskill Mountains and co-founded the group with her brother Jackson at age 18.
After making Brooklyn their home base, the band became known for a busy touring schedule that included more than 150 shows a year. They have shared stages with artists including Allen Stone, Trombone Shorty, JJ Grey, The Revivalists, and Anders Osborne. The Washington Post called Kincheloe “a soul queen,” while NPR described her as “one of the biggest voices in rock music.”
