School Committee meeting

The next New Bedford School Committee meeting is on Monday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. in the
Steven De Rossi Community Room at Keith Middle School.

Agenda items include:

• The committee will approve sub-committee assignments for 2026.
•  Members will vote to finalize the 2026 sub-committee meeting calendar.
• The committee will consider approval of the 2025-26 school year calendar revisions.
• Travel requests are on the agenda, including conferences in New Orleans, Southbridge, and Charlotte.
• The panel will review an Open Meeting Law complaint received Feb. 2.

Other routine items include the superintendent’s report, budget update, student representative report, and standard minutes review.

Public comment is scheduled, and an executive session on contract negotiations is planned.
